Herculaneum
Herculaneum - named after one of the Roman mythological heroes, Hercules - was destroyed by the 79AD eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. The slow walk across all of Herculaneum will allow you to observe the molding of civilization into this remote town. Buried by the same eruption as Pompeii, it's now a marvelous historic site filled with an abundance of history and breathtaking views. Both these cities offer spectacular ruins, relics and interesting markings left behind by the people who did not survive the eruption.

The National Archaeological Museum of Naples
The National Archaeological Museum of Naples is an important destination particularly for those interested in Ancient Roman history. Its archaeological collection includes works from Greek, Roman and Renaissance times, plus Roman artefacts from nearby Pompeii, Stabiae and Herculaneum.

ITINERARY
Pompeii: This itinerary is from the starting point of Naples Area (port / hotel / train station). You will have roughly 2 hours to explore this ruin. Explore this ruin in which was buried under meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79A.D. Filled with an abundance of history, this partially buried town offers marvelous scenery that one must personally see to believe. A must-see site that will provide you with a rare and knowledgeable experience. 

Herculaneum: We will then proceed to Herculaneum where you will have roughly 2 hours explore. Herculaneum named after one of the Roman mythological heroes, Hercules, Herculaneum was destroyed by the 79AD eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. The slow walk across all of Herculaneum will allow you to take part in the molding of civilization in this remote town. Buried by the same eruption was also Pompeii, now a marvelous historic site filled with an abundance of history and breathtaking views. Both these cities offer spectacular ruins, relics and interesting markings left behind by the people who did not survive Mt. Vesuvius eruption. One hour lunch in Naples and recommendation will be made by the driver. 

Lunch will be discussed with the escort driver first thing in the morning. The escort driver will make recommendations / suggestions. Reservations will be made if need so.

Final stop will be Archeological Museum. The National Archaeological Museum of Naples is an important museum particularly for the Ancient Romans. Its archeological collection includes works from Greek, Roman and Renaissance times, especially Roman artifacts from nearby Pompeii, Stabiae and Herculaneum. Once done back to the pickup location or otherwise indicated. 

The escort driver will return to the location pick up between the hours 4-5pm. Or otherwise agreed upon.

Important Note Regarding itinerary
If the starting point is from Sorrento Area, Amalfi Area, or Salerno Area the itinerary is as follows: Pompeii-Herculaneum-The National Archaeological Museum of Naples. 

Pick up time: 8 am or as for your confirmation.
Return time: 4-5pm or as for your confirmation.

Transportation
One of our professional, knowledgeable English speaking driver guides will be waiting at pick up location (where you will be tendered) or location agreed at 8 am, or according to the agreed time. Your driver will be holding a sign with your or your party's name on it.

Ports (Pick up is normally 8am or otherwise agreed upon)
Our escort driver will be waiting at the gangway of your cruise ship or outside the cruise ship terminal. The escort driver will be holding up a sign with the group's name on it. The email that accompanies the voucher you receive at the time of booking will indicate the meeting point for each specific port. We recommend that you meet onboard before exiting the ship. This way you are all together when meeting your escort driver and the tour can commence much more efficiently. Otherwise, the wait time for others will be 20minutes, after which time the tour will proceed.
Naples Train station
The escort driver will be waiting at the end of the train platform where your train will be arriving at. The escort driver will be holding a sign with the name in which the reservation was reserved. Due to COVID changing status they maybe at times waiting at platform 24 where the exit is located near Chalet Ciro.

Airport
The escort driver will be waiting at the arrival lobby holding a sign with the name in which the reservation was made under or otherwise stated.
Hotel
Escort driver will be waiting at the lobby of the hotel. Normally pick up is 8:30 am or otherwise stated.
Resident / B & B
The escort driver will be waiting outside the main doors of the building.
