Pisa
Pisa is of Etruscan origin and was an important naval base for the Romans. Its most celebrated attraction today is the Leaning Tower of Pisa which - along with the Coliseum, gondolas and spaghetti - has become a symbol of Italy. You can visit the "Field of Miracles" and see the Leaning Tower, the cathedral, the "Campo Santo" cemetery, the Baptistery and the cathedral museum. After a lengthy restoration a few years ago, the tower was reopened and you can now go to the top to admire the view. The climb to the summit is an experience in itself, as you can feel the "lean" in the structure while you wind your way towards the peak.

Lucca
Here you will have the opportunity to stroll through the town, shop, take pictures and have lunch (recommendations will be made on the day).

ITINERARY

At the port you will find the driver waiting for you carrying a sign with your name on it. After a 20-minute-drive along the Roman via Aurelia with the Apennines on the horizon, we will arrive to Pisa. Surely you know the Leaning Tower but once you arrive you will discover that this is not the only thing to see in this wonderful city. The Miracle Square can easily be considered one of the most beautiful in the World. Here you can choose to visit the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Monumental Cemetery, the Museums of the Sinopie and Opera, and climb the Leaning Tower, which is about 300 steps high. You will also have time for little shopping at the souvenir market and a coffee break with the real Italian cappuccino and delicious pastry.On our way out we will drive through the Piazza dei Cavalieri. Driving towards North for about half an hour we will arrive to Lucca. Surrounded by its majestic walls you will find Cathedrals, Monuments, Churches, restaurants, all in the relaxing milieu of this beautiful Italian city much less known abroad and yet as beautiful as the famous ones. If you wish, you can have a delicious traditional lunch in a local Trattoria near Lucca. On your way back the driver will show you some of the amazing sights that the Tuscan hills offer. Transportation
One of our professional, knowledgeable English speaking driver guides will be at the gangway of the port at 8am with your name on a sign.

• Ports (Pick up is normally 8am or otherwise agreed upon)
  

  Our escort driver will be waiting at the gangway of your cruise ship or outside the cruise ship terminal. The escort driver will be holding up a sign with the group's name on it. The email that accompanies the voucher you receive at the time of booking will indicate the meeting point for each specific port. We recommend that you meet onboard before exiting the ship. This way you are all together when meeting your escort driver and the tour can commence much more efficiently. Otherwise, the wait time for others will be 20minutes, after which time the tour will proceed.

• As for La Spezia Port
  Please note you will need to take a complimentary shuttle bus (do not take the shuttle bus going to the city. You want the one to La Spezia) less than 5 minutes where the passenger pick-up is. Please note that the shuttle bus will take you to the exit of the cruise terminal. There the Escort driver will be waiting with your name on a sign.

• Airport
  The escort driver will be waiting at the arrival lobby holding a sign with the name in which the reservation was made under or otherwise stated.

• Hotel
  Escort driver will be waiting at the lobby of the hotel. Normally pick up is 8:30 am or otherwise stated.
