ITINERARY
Once you are all together, you will proceed with your tour Full day from the port of Messina, optional lunch € 35, oo per person Shortly after disembarking, a warm greeting will be granted by your driver. Then you will traverse to the jaw dropping experience along the panoramic north coast of the island with the town of Milazzo, bearing its spectacular Citadel, and castle with the history of being built in the 10th century near old churches and the Greek acropolis. A Picture perfect drive will then be conducted along the Capo Milazzo peninsular, up to the tiny yet culturally powerful church branching over the coast of where St Anthoney founded a refugee shipwreck (January 1221). Among the inspiring scenery around a locally caught seafood lunch will be ready. Then a trip will lead back to the Messina cathedral square, where one of the most grand Norman Churches had been built in Sicily, being torn down upon its course of history with natural earthquakes, fires, and World War II fire-bombing, being reimagined spectacularly each time rebuilt. Alongside the marvelous piece of history is the 16th century Fountain of Orion, made by the student of the famous Michelangelo, and a rhythmically chiming clock tower everytime the day reaches noon. End of the tour
Departure: Around 4.00 pm we will start the drive back to the port to be back on time around 5.30 pm.

Transportation
One of our professional, knowledgeable English speaking driver guides will be waiting at pick up location (where you will be tendered) or agreed location at 8 am, or according to the agreed time. Your driver will be holding a sign with your or your party's name on it.

  Our escort driver will be waiting at the gangway of your cruise ship or outside the cruise ship terminal. The escort driver will be holding up a sign with the group's name on it. The email that accompanies the voucher you receive at the time of booking will indicate the meeting point for each specific port. We recommend that you meet onboard before exiting the ship. This way you are all together when meeting your escort driver and the tour can commence much more efficiently. Otherwise, the wait time for others will be 20minutes, after which time the tour will proceed.
